Senior associate of the Law Firm, dr. Mátyás (Mathias) Szalay, who joined the Law Firm after his university studies. His main purpose is to provide legally reliable and precise, but at the same time pragmatic and solution-oriented advices. He is convinced that a well-forethought agreement is able to prevent a significant proportion of legal disputes, and even in non-contractual relationships the cooperation of the parties is the best option to settle all conflicts of interests as soon as possible.

Dr. Mátyás (Mathias) Szalay graduated in 2018 at the ELTE University Faculty of Law with a “cum laude” certificate. During his studies, he spent 6 months at Tilburg University.

Area of expertise

He published his thesis in the area of tort law, wrote an article in 2018 about engagement contracts with commission as fee and completed a training for data protection officers is 2019. Besides data protection law he works with contracts and labour law on a day-to-day basis, but also gained experience regarding company procedures.
